Upskill will provide a safe and drug free homely environment for our residents who are considered to be at risk of causing harm to themselves and or society, and who have a history of homelessness, substance use, mental health issues and offending behaviour.

Each resident will have an individual action plan tailored to their specific needs and a risk assessment, drawn up by themselves, referring professionals and their keyworker. The key worker will take the lead role, acting as a single point of contact and co-ordinating the delivery of the action plan.

Residents will sign a support agreement to engage with all aspects of the service during their 18 month residence.

Through a range of structured and semi structured programmes, one to one keywork sessions and robust risk assessments, residents will gain the necessary skills to maintain good social contact and have the knowledge to sustain long-term tenancy and employment opportunities, once they leave our service.
